Vicious History

Let's face it, history doesn't pull any punches and it can be pretty vicious; however, it's not half as vicious if you've got a Vicious History t-shirt! The Vicious History brand was created in February of 2010 and is based in Boston Mass. The company's m.o. is producing contemporary clothes with a wide array of historical influences coming together to create a unique, artistic design.

Vicious History founder and owner, Chaz Matses, has put a great deal of effort into making sure Vicious History has fresh, memorable designs by high quality artists. Some artists which have worked with Vicious History include Keaton Henson, Craig Robson, Gabriel Gozzer, PitchGrim and Killer Napkins. Their product line has recently expanded with the release of their first hoodie design and have also begun using their own custom printed tags.

Scholars and Thieves

Scholars and Thieves

Check out Gabriel Gozzer's Scholars & Thieves which is a great example of the type of cool, history-inspired t-shirts offered by Vicious History. It's printed on the soft 50/50 blend American Apparel t-shirt and features a sharp black and white portrait style design.

General Mutton

General Mutton

Of course history wouldn't be complete without its great generals, Napoleon, Patton, Lee, and of course General Mutton! General Mutton is a vivid rendering of a distinguished looking officer with prominent mutton chops. This design by Keaton Henson features some great use colors and placement, and utilizes a print runs to the very bottom of the shirt.

Reign of Science

Reign of Science by Craig Robson

If science is more your thing then don't miss Craig Robson's Reign of Science. Reign of Science depicts a wide range of oddities being contained and preserved in glass jars. The black and white print is perfect for the subject matter. This design is printed on the Anvil slim fitting tees.

That's just a small sample of what Vicious History has to offer. Make sure you follow Vicious History on Twitter and friend them on Facebook. Chaz is always working hard on the next Vicious History release, in fact he just released a new line in January 2011. Get connected to see what VH releases next!
