Can you print individualized names and/or numbers on custom t-shirts?

Yes, this is a very common request that we receive. We often see orders like this when the customer is doing t-shirts for their sports team. In this case it is common for them to want to get the players’ individualized last names, or nicknames printed on the back of the shirt in the style of an athletic team jersey. Very often the customer will also want to add a custom player number below the name and that is no problem either. While this is often done for sports teams it can be done for any group for any reason. The names and numbers can be created in custom fonts and ordered in various size shirts as needed.

However, while we are happy to offer this service to our customers, adding personalized names and/or numbers to your order does add to the overall price per shirt. The reason is that this level of personalization takes much more time and effort to get every shirt prepared and printed. The increased amount of time and labor, unavoidably calls for an additional cost per shirt. This is usually in the $3-5 range per shirt, but may vary depending on the circumstances.

As an example, it will of course be more expensive to do both individualized names AND numbers on your shirts than it would be to do only one or the other. Doing custom names also costs a little bit more than doing custom numbers. In addition to that, it is possible to do all sorts of different things like get the names and numbers printed both front and back on the shirt. A group might decide to get their names printed only on the back, but their numbers printed on the front and back. All of these different scenarios alter the price in different ways. The best way to get an estimate is to either go online and check in our online design studio, or to simply give us a call or send us an email and let us know the specifics for your order. We are always happy to help with any questions or concerns that you may have.
